Photographers are not a one-man band. A professional wedding photographer will employ a team of assistants to assist with various tasks, such as lighting, styling, and posing. Hiring at most two photographers to cover your wedding is a good idea. This will ensure you are covered for all aspects of the day and not worry about missed opportunities or mistakes. You can also get different perspectives and angles on your photos, which will help you see the whole event from a wider range of angles.

Why I Became A Photographer in South Wales

I’m Carl Woodward an Award-Winning South Wales Wedding Photographer.
I aim to capture those special wedding day moments,
ensuring you enjoy memories of your special day for years to come.

My photography journey began in 2013, during a challenging period of my life. After serving in the Army’s Rifles Regiment in Iraq and Afghanistan, I faced struggles with my mental health. It was then that I discovered the therapeutic power of photography. Picking up my first camera and immersing myself in the beauty of the Brecon Beacons, I found peace and purpose. This newfound passion helped me overcome my struggles and pursue a full-time career as a South Wales Wedding Photographer.

There’s an unparalleled joy in capturing the essence of your special day, freezing those fleeting moments of natural emotions and happiness. I aim to preserve these memories, allowing you to relive the love and joy of your wedding day for years to come. My passion for photography extends to capturing the unique beauty of venues across Cardiff and Swansea, from the iconic Principality Stadium and Pierhead Building to the tranquil beaches of the Gower Peninsula. Each location offers a stunning backdrop for your love story, making your wedding photos unforgettable.

I will also grab my passport and join you for a Destination Wedding in Europe.
