Why I Became a Wedding Photographer
My photography journey began in 2013 after serving with The Rifles in Iraq and Afghanistan. During a difficult period, picking up a camera and spending time in the Brecon Beacons gave me something positive to focus on. That passion became a full-time career.
My military background taught me to stay calm, plan carefully and notice what is happening around me. Those skills matter when wedding timings move, the weather changes and emotions run high.

How long do couple photographs take?
Most couple portraits take around 10 to 15 minutes after the ceremony, with an optional short session later if the evening light is particularly good.
How much is full-day wedding photography?
Full-day wedding photography is £1,500. Photography and film coverage is £2,500. You can compare everything included on the pricing page.
Which areas do you cover?
I am based in Mountain Ash and photograph weddings across Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Bridgend, Brecon, the Valleys and throughout Wales.
Can you photograph and film our wedding?
Yes. Gareth and I work as one small team so the photography and films feel consistent without extra people taking over your wedding.
