Hi, I’m Carl a Wedding Photographer in Cardiff, South Wales (but I photograph weddings all over the UK).

You have chosen the most perfect Castle in South Wales for your small intimate wedding.
Castell Coch is a nineteenth-century folly designed to represent a fairytale castle it rises up from the ancient beech woods of Fforest Fawr like a vision from a fairy tale.
The Marquess of Bute’s Gothic creation at Castell Coch, with its highly decorated interior and the beautiful woodland setting it really is the most perfect setting for your small intimate wedding.
The ceremonies are held in the Drawing Room which holds a maximum of 30 people.
The Court Yard
The three towers lead into a small oval courtyard that sits on the top of the motte, about 19.5 metres (64 ft) across lengthways.
The Courtyard is the ideal place for some family group photographs.

HELPFUL INFORMATION.
Castell Coch can accommodate two weddings a day, depending on timings, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, for a maximum of 90 minutes each.
This comprises 30 minutes for the preparation of the room, 30 minutes for the ceremony and 30 minutes for wedding photography in the courtyard and grounds of the castle.
The room will be set up by the custodians, and the layout can be discussed and agreed upon beforehand.
Castell Coch offers free car parking for visitors.
