What areas do you cover?
I am a wedding photographer in South Wales based just outside Cardiff. I regularly photograph weddings throughout the UK and I've photographed weddings in Portsmouth, Liverpool, Birmingham and all over South Wales. If your wedding location is 50 miles or over from CF45 there will be a small fee for distance travelled at a cost of 40p per mile. If your wedding location is over 2 hours drive it will require an overnight stay. I don’t have expensive tastes just a Premier Inn or a Travel Lodge close to the Venue would be great.
I love to travel and my passport is ready to go! I would be privileged to photograph destination weddings or engagements. Please contact me for further details.
Will we meet before the wedding day?
Yes of course. I love to meet my couples for a formal consultation or informal chat over coffee. It’s a great opportunity for us to get to know each other before your big day. Whether it's at your home or a local coffee shop or your wedding venue it’s a nice icebreaker and helps calm the Bride and Groom’s nerves. This can also be over facetime or skype if the distance is too far or if you're too busy planning the big day.
Contact before your wedding day
Once you have paid a non-refundable booking fee you will receive a receipt and contract in the post. Please sign the contract and return back to me ASAP. When I have received the signed contract this secures your wedding date. If you have any questions or requests please feel free to contact me at any time and I will be happy to discuss them.
The final balance needs to be paid in full 6 weeks before your wedding day. I will contact you 2 weeks before your wedding date to discuss the timings and the outline of your wedding day and finalise any last-minute changes. I’ll also request a questionnaire be completed with details of your big day.
Do we need to provide you with a meal on the big day?
No, you don’t have to but it is a long day and warm food goes a long way, but if that’s not possible I fully understand and will bring a packed lunch.
Are you insured?
Yes I’m fully insured for public liability, professional indemnity and damage or theft of my photography equipment. I have backup cameras and camera lenses. I also have a backup system where your images are stored on password-protected hard drives and cloud backup for extra security and reassurance.
How many images will we receive?
You will receive professionally edited images and for a full-day package 500 - 700 professionally edited images.
Can we print our images ourselves?
Most definitely. You will receive the images on a USB stick and all our clients are free to print and share their images with family and friends.
When will my images be ready?
I will strive to provide you with a small selection of individually edited images from your wedding day within 48 hours, so you’ll have some highlights of your big day to share with your family and friends until your wedding collection is finalised. Your final images will be delivered to you within 8 weeks.
